ABOUT THE DESIGNS
The designs are Adinkra symbols from Ghana that represent concepts or aphorisms. These are the foundation of the graphical style of the BBG event. Adinkra are used extensively in fabrics, logos and pottery and are usually incorporated into walls and other architectural features. Below is a little bit of background into the meaning of each of the symbols.
Truth.
Nokore symbol is associated with the concept of truth. The image conveys a knot that is tied in the center of a piece of fabric. A visual representation of the idea that truth is an intricate and multi-faceted concept that can be challenging to disentangle.
